A new name for an old blog

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that I’ve changed the name of this blog.
Not that I didn’t like the name Mancunian Way (which my predecessor Simon Donohue, also the motoring editor, cleverly called this blog), it’s just that I decided the road-based title didn’t adequately describe the blogging I’m now doing here.
So Manchester is Online it is – and hopefully it will grow to be a place which will truly reflect the fantastic amount of cyber activity going on in the city.
Let me know if you’re blogging, organising a Manchester Second Life event or setting up a Facebook campaign group either by submitting a comment below or sending me an email.

It’s always nice to see something new made from something old, but what is the point here? Surely the URI is going to remain the same, no matter what you put on the Header, and that states quite clearly The Mancunian Way.

Sorry for the delay in posting this Pi – you were spammed!
I felt the name – while clever – didn’t really spell out what the blog was going to be about now i.e. Manchester web stuff.
Still not sure though, it did have a ring about it.

    Hi Sarah,
I loved your Mancunion Way blog title. Can I use it instead?

    Hi Jim
You know so many people have said they liked it that I’m going to turn it back.
As Pi said, the URL couldn’t change anyway. So bad idea all round! Just call me indecisive.
