Live coverage of the first Social Media Cafe

The city’s very first Social Media Café kicks off tonight – and there’s no reason to miss a minute with coverage going on across a host of platforms and at this blog.
The program for the event has already been published at the dedicated Google group where all the arrangements are made. It is as follows;
18:00 Doors open
18:20 Introductions what we are and who we are
18:30 Panel discussion Is Blogging Dead? With panellists Craig McGinty
of This Frenchlife , Martin Bryant of 14sandwiches and Chi-chi Ekweozor of Real Fresh TV. (I will be chairing)
19:00 Questions
19:30 Networking
20:30 Round up and close
Keeping a track of events shouldn’t be difficult – the hashtag #smc_mcr has been agreed in advance.
There’ll be some live streaming from Martin and (wi-fi permitting) myself as well as video (or audio) after the event at www.pr-media-blog.co.uk.
You can follow all the updates made using the micro-blogging platform Twitter here or via the YahooPipe below which should additionally include any Flickr photos correctly tagged. (I say should because I’ve been finding the pipes a little unstable recently – any suggestions on how to improve, most welcome).
I shall be back at the blog later and I’ll endeavour to round up as much of the coverage as possible, right here.
