I unexpectedly ended up spending the day at Chester Zoo today – and guess which hairy duo I bumped into?
Ok it’s bit off my usual digital beat but the opportunity to spend the day filming animals isn’t to be sniffed at so I made it along to see the creatures being counted up as part of the annual stock take. (see the results of that adventure here)
But the penguins and sealions weren’t the only wildlife – I also bumped into The Hairy Bikers and managed to snatch the quick sneak preview snap of their film shoot above.
They were down at the zoo filming one of their cookery programmes but I saw them on my way to a date with Norman the Komodo Dragon who turns out to be Kevin’s(pictured) below favourite of all the creatures he cares for.
Can’t wait to see what the duo got to cook up but one thing I know it won’t be is any of the residents – they’re all accounted for.
