Did local TV unwittingly screen a UFO this morning?

Were you up early enough to spot what is claimed to be a UFO in the background of a Granada TV bulletin this morning?
YouTube user kiuhy7 is convinced that’s exactly what appears behind the presenter. He told me he filmed this between 5 and 6am this morning on the ITV regional channel.
He said he was so busy filming the action in background, that he can’t recall what the story was about. Suffice to say it wasn’t flying object related.
Since he posted it on youtube just a short while ago it’s been doing some flying around the interwebs across platforms and already clocked up 160 views at the time of posting.
What do you think? Did you see it too? Hoax? Plane?

It’s clearly an out of focus aircraft with landing lights on. Look at the building lights, they are all out of focus too. Why do people keep posting this rubbish online?

Well… to put myself out on a limb, I’d say this looks uniform with the hundreds if not thousands of sightings I kept a track on last year… youtube (here, I really invite the cynics) has really made me think about this… If thousands of people who previously have no connection to UFOs (and I often check out their youtube profiles only to find that their other posts are all cats and birthday parties) are convinced, they might be wrong. But could they ALL be wrong? I admit there are a lot of hoaxters, but a lot of people are convinced by what they see. And there seems to be a uniform and NEW idea of what a UFO is unfolding, and that is, formations of amber lights moving along the skyline at a steady rate, regardless of wind. The light thing is intriguing.. think about the idea of UFOs being pure light for a while, and it really changes what you are thinking about. Forget little green men… Google the Phoenix lights doco, it’s on youtube. TBH, I think they’ll turn out to be the celestial equivalent of jellyfish. That’s my fifty cents. Nice website.
