Manchester Digital’s new council was elected at their AGM on Tuesday night, and sees 3 new members join for the forthcoming year, including one old friend, Liane Grimshaw, now at Amaze, who it will be great to see back contributing to the council.
Joining Liane are Katie Moffat, who recently organised the highly successful Manchester Twestival, and Nina Mack of digital marketing agency, Madewith. With 23 candidates for the 12 positions on the council, it’s great to see such interest in contributing to the success of the trade association, as well as a mix of new and existing members – providing, I’m sure, a broad range of experience which will help MD continue to develop for the benefit of its members in the next year.
The full list of council members is here, and their short electoral addresses can still be found here. Its interesting to see how online marketing and social media are continuing to grow within the city, reflected, I think, in the new members elected to the council. Proving that you don’t have to drink in the Northern Quarter to be digital, celebratory drinks took place in Manchester institution, the Salisbury.
