It’s time to mark a milestone here at Dim Sum Digital. The environmental newsletter for the north of England, The Northern Eco, has now been running for six months!
We started on August 1 last year and have since published 40 newsletters, interviewed 17 people (mapped here and shown above), recommended 12 books and served up six recipes.
It’s been very rewarding seeing the subscribers steadily grow and discovering there are so many people out there who, not only care passionately about the environment, but are also seeking ways to act locally. Over the months we’ve experimented with various formats and topics while keeping a steady pace with weekly eco updates on a Tuesday that have been free to all. Some subscribers have chosen to support with a paid subscription which is most welcome too as we find our way back into business!
