Talking Twitter over the airwaves

BBC Radio Manchester invited me to help de-mystify Twitter for listeners to the afternoon Becky Want show today.
Explaining the micro-blogging platform to someone, or in this case potentially thousands, of people who don’t ‘get it’ is always quite difficult.
So here in brief are my answers to the always asked questions;
1.Yes, it is useful.
2. No it’s not a time sink – if your network is large and engaged enough it will save you time.
3. And very no, it’s not about celebrity worship!
The session I did today was introduced as an idiot’s guide – I’m guessing that’s a reference to me, the guider, although twit would have done!
